Pricing FAQ

Can a project developer buy a rating of their own issued credits?

No. Post-issuance ratings (V4-CCR) and project ratings for issued credits (V4-CPR) are produced for subscribers, not for rated parties. This is a structural independence requirement. Developers can commission a pre-issuance V4-CPR under the Developer tier, but the report is published in full.

How are subscription prices determined?

Subscription pricing is tiered by the scope of database access (number of project types, number of vintage years, API usage volume). We do not publish a public price list because institutional requirements vary significantly. Contact us for a proposal.

What is included in the API access?

Subscriber API access provides programmatic queries to the V4 database by project code, registry ID, vintage year, project type, rating grade, and state. Responses include the rating grade, pillar scores, and a link to the full PDF report.

How long does a spot rating take?

Standard spot rating turnaround is 7 business days from receipt of all required project documents. Express turnaround (3 business days) is available at a premium.

Can I access ratings before subscribing?

Yes. V4 publishes sample ratings and sample reports for illustration. You can also request a sample rating of a specific project before committing to a subscription.

Is there a trial period?

New subscribers can access a 30-day evaluation period with full database access. If the subscription is not continued after 30 days, access lapses and no further charge is made.

Ready to discuss a subscription?
